the managerial cluestick has been applied.

After witnessing the efforts required to manage technical projects and people at various organizations I'm begining to garner a great deal of respect for the task itself. Rands has a nice write up covering his views on managerial styles. I've found rands views on the subject to be rather interesting as he is a manager, while I am not. It's fairly scary how much communication is required to release products, not to mention if they involve collusion with another company. At this point in my life I'm quite happy to be where I am, point me in a direction and I shall march!
