Last night I noticed my laptop seriously slowing down due to some random processes hogging the CPUs. I decided after killing a few things, that maybe it was time for a reboot. My little macbook displayed the missing folder icon a few minutes thereafter. Excellent. 11:30pm, non-booting laptop, work stuff almost done with no code check-in in the past few days (I prefer to only check in working code, unless I’ve made really major changes)… Great. So the next morning I fire up DiskWarrior and amazingly the machine starts spewing more click noise than an angry Sandawe. Hopefully I can recover the things I was working on and my vm. At least most of my honeymoon pictures are on my server.
