fixing horrible image quality on 120dpi displays
Thu, Aug 25, 2005I have a Dell D600 from work, which has a hi resolution widescreen aspect ratio display. In other words, at anything other than 120dpi everything is insanely small. I prefer larger more readable text, so the display has stayed at 120dpi. This has a fun side effect. When displaying images in IE, they appear resized and horrible. There is a solution as this "effect" is configurable. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\UseHR
should be set to 0
. After IE is restarted you will find images are no longer horribly mangled.
