effervescent thoughts

So I've finally redone the blog's design. It's actually quite nice at this point imho. I found out an interesting tidbit regarding ie's css support. It apparently follows the css2 spec and does not honor // as a comment delimeter, though safari and firefox seem to. Which leaves me with a nice way to deliver ie hacked css. In addition to that little tidbit, I found that float'd elements do not seem to honor percent-based dimensions. I haven't actually checked the spec, but that is quite an annoying issue which rears its ugly head when you visit a permalink here.

As a habit I enjoy arguing topics with people, I feel it forces a person to rapidly asses their position and organize their thoughts towards a logical goal. In that vein whilst scouring delicious I came upon 38 ways to win an argument.
