downtime, eek

Apparently my webserver has not been serving pages for the past few days. Normally I would get a text message from nagios a few minutes after such an issue presented itself. That is unless I disable checks for the web server while I mess with things. It’s all well and good until you forget to re-enable the checks. Nagios is not a cure for forgetful admin syndrome.

In other news, I’m crunching through a new release of rubycomplete with even better buffer-completion handling. I’m coming up with more test cases every day as I develop other ruby applications. In addition I’m working on a ruby hl7 library that will allow people to create properly formatted hl7 2.x/3.0 messages. Hopefully I’ll have a release of rubycomplete ready in the next few days.
